“We have always intended for the center to be a place where girls could be involved in a variety of programs,” Tracy Keller the Council’s CEO said. “The Lodge will be yet another step in our ability to better serve girls. It will allow troops and groups to have overnight experiences and learn about the use of green technology.”
In addition to a pool, it has indoor facilities that accommodate after school programs and day camps for girls throughout the year.
The construction of the Lodge was made possible through partnerships with local businesses and donations.
