Roofing Services in Short Pump
Serving Short Pump Property Owners Since 1986
Roof trouble often starts with a visible problem: a leak, missing shingles, storm damage, or worn materials. But deciding between a focused repair and a complete roof replacement requires a closer look at the entire system, including flashing, penetrations, decking, underlayment, drainage, and attic ventilation.
We evaluate the roof and explain our findings before recommending a solution. Whether you own a home, business, or multi-family property, we match the scope of work to the roof’s condition and the building’s needs.
Contact us online or call (757) 941-4305 to request a roofing service evaluation for your Short Pump property.

Family-Founded in 1986, with an A+ BBB Rating
Dan Worstell founded Pyramid Roofing with his father, Jerry, and former coworker Don Randles. Those roots still shape how we communicate, approach our work, and take responsibility for each property we serve.
We’re BBB accredited with an A+ rating. Qualifying replacement projects also include workmanship warranty protection, providing written coverage tied to the completed work.
When to Repair or Replace a Residential Roof
A repair may be appropriate when damage is confined to one area and the surrounding materials and underlying assembly remain serviceable. Widespread wear, recurring leaks, incompatible previous repairs, or compromised decking may make replacement the better option. We assess the existing system before discussing asphalt shingles, metal roofing, slate, or tile.
Connected components matter, too. We provide gutter and downspout services, skylight installation and repair, and attic ventilation work when these parts contribute to leaks, poor drainage, or reduced roof performance.
Storm Damage, Emergency Repairs, & Drainage
Visible shingle damage after severe weather may not reveal the full problem. Document conditions from a safe location, limit additional water entry when possible, and arrange an inspection of the surface, flashing, penetrations, and interior areas showing signs of moisture.
We handle storm damage repair and emergency roof repair, including temporary tarping when appropriate. If drainage contributed to the problem, we can also evaluate the gutters and downspouts.

“Very knowledgeable answered all my questions couldn't have asked for a better experience.”Kim S.
Gave me a very concise quote and covered everything
"Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Pyramid Roofing, our appointment time was set and they were prompt. Thoroughly examined my roof, the attic, and the tool shed beside our house. Gave me a very concise quote and covered everything from pipe collars to magnetic cleanup at the end. Very knowledgeable answered all my questions couldn't have asked for a better experience."- Kim S. -
“The work was scheduled within a couple of weeks and was completed in one day.”Michael C.
Overall, positive experience and job well done.
"The process started when we identified a degraded "boot" on a plumbing vent on our roof. We called Pyramid Roofing. The roof was examined inside and out. An outside inspection (done with a drone) showed other issues. A good description of the cost of repairs or replacement was provided by David (the Pyramid Rep). Samples of the replacement material (shingles, drip edge, underlayment, water and ice shield, etc) were shown and explained. We chose to replace the roof. The work was scheduled within a couple of weeks and was completed in one day. There was a supervisor onsite for most of the work. So far, so good. Some minor comments- some of the cleanup was done late in the day in the dark. We picked up several nails (more than a dozen) in our driveway and on our deck. Also a followup drone video of the finished roof installation would have been appreciated. Overall, positive experience and job well done."- Michael C. -
“They have one of the best warranties in the area with lifetime workmanship coverage!”Dominique C.
I recommend using this company for all of your roofing needs!
"- Dominique C.I needed my roof replaced before I could get new insurance coverage and Drew came out to give me an estimate, went into the attic and on the actual roof, providing pictures and video of all of the issues so that I could see for myself what needed to be done, where other companies just looked at the roof from the street or just from pictures. Pyramid office staff were polite, respectful, and made sure I got on the schedule within a week! They started right before 8am and finished by noon! Worked fast and did an amazing job, not to mention cleaned up everything after themselves. They also give follow up calls from a manager who makes sure everything is to your liking, that it was done the way it was supposed to be done, and provided pictures of the finished product. Plus, they have one of the best warranties in the area with lifetime workmanship coverage! I recommend using this company for all of your roofing needs!

“I bought from him same day because he was so good at helping my wife and I understand what was going on.”Chris C.
Would recommend him to my neighbors 100%.
"Scott was AMAZING!!!! He was super thorough and explained everything with pictures, which is something that most techs/sales guys don't do. He pointed out some things about my roof that I didn't know about and why they are important as well. I bought from him same day because he was so good at helping my wife and I understand what was going on. Would recommend him to my neighbors 100%."- Chris C. -
“I knew from my conversation with her that I had selected the right company.”Crystal L.
I am so impressed with Pyramid Roofing.
"I am so impressed with Pyramid Roofing. We had an ice jam that caused water to leak into our home. Paulette scheduled our appointment and went over everything David would do during the inspection. I knew from my conversation with her that I had selected the right company. David was terrific! He performed a thorough and detailed inspection of our roof and documented with pictures and video the, fortunately for us, minor repair work that needs to be done. I highly recommend Pyramid!"- Crystal L.
